The Bulls finally pulled out a win after a disastrous 5 game losing streak. Of course, beating the Clippers isn't an award winning achievement (it never has and never will be). I didn't even bother staying up until 10:30 p.m. to watch this "game". I don't know what it is, but us Bulls fans aren't really patient people. These last two seasons have began with a lot of hope and excitement and then by mid-season, we're screaming on blogs and fan forums for Paxson to make a move. Damn it, nothing is happening. Nothing. Former Tribune writer and current bulls.com columnist, Sam Smith offered a plausible trade scenario on Monday with the following players.
Bulls trade Hinrich, Noc & Thomas to Golden State for Ellis, Turioff & Wright.
then
Bulls trade Gooden & Noah to the Clippers for Chris Kaman
This doesn't solve a whole lot but gives us a slightly better team with a guy who can post up and a super athletic back court with no defensive capabilities once so ever. I would do this just to give the fans the breath of fresh air we've been needing. Our draft pick this year is going to be pointless, we should try to hock that off as well. This Bulls team had their run, they peaked in 2007 with their overachieving 49 win season. It's not gonna happen again with these guys. Let's move on.
